Abdul Quader from The University of Queensland School of Chemical Engineering received a Australian Nanotechnology Network Travel Award of $550. He used this award to present a poster “Membrane-based Helium Recovery from Natural Gas: A Simulation and Cost Study “ at the Early Career Researcher Membrane Symposium at Macquarie University, Sydney on 5-6 February 2018. It was a great opportunity for Abdul to obtain excellent experience through career development, proposal writing workshops, and outstanding mentoring from membrane scientists and engineers. The suggestions gained from membrane scientists and researchers will greatly help to improve his PhD project.
