Research Associate, UWA
Kwanghee is a postdoctoral research associate of the Fluid Science and Resources Division and the Centre for Long Subsea Tiebacks at UWA. He completed his PhD thesis in 2020 at UWA on “Advanced Techniques to Study Interfacial Phenomena and Hydrate Nucleation”. His expertise in Raman spectroscopy, acoustic levitation and high-pressure operation applied to (i) gas hydrate formation and risk management studies in production pipelines, (ii) gas adsorption (carbon dioxide, hydrogen and methane) in functionalised materials, (iii) material characterisation using Raman imaging. Currently, his research focuses on efficient and safe gas production and transport for natural gas and hydrogen.
