Process Engineer, Previso Software
Thomas graduated from UWA in 2014 with a Bachelor of Chemical & Process Engineering (with First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Science in Physics. He joined the Fluid Science and Resources group as a PhD Candidate in 2015, working on the development of a tool to predict hydrate blockage formation in gas-condensate flowlines. His PhD included a 1.5 year secondment to the Center for Hydrate Research at Colorado School of Mines, performing hydrate experiments using a high-pressure water tunnel and a mini-loop apparatus. The predictive flow assurance tool is currently deployed with operators to help manage hydrate formation, reducing the capital and operating costs of natural gas developments.
